THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Dish Creative Cuisine Restaurant Review:
Of all the desert communities, Cathedral City is the one that doesn’t get a lot of attention for its culinary contributions. But Dish Creative Cuisine is starting to change people’s perceptions. Swapping a successful law practice to pursue a career at the stoves, former legal eagle Joane Garcia-Colson is well suited to the profession, and she has recruited chef Michelle Heinrich to help share kitchen duties. Meals start with an amuse-bouche, followed by starters such as the artichoke and chickpea fritter. Among entrées, we’re partial to the prettily plated herb-crusted lamb chops. Desserts include a dark tiramisu tart with rich espresso syrup and shaved chocolate. There isn’t a full bar, but the wine list pairs well with the food. Craft beer is also available and, if you really need something shaken or stirred, the reduced-proof cocktails should do the trick.
