THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Double T's Real Smoked Barbeque Restaurant Review:
Double T’s uses St. Louis-cut ribs and a very sweet, very gooey barbecue baste that makes rib-eating here a finger-licking task. Love ribs? Then come on Tuesdays, when you can eat all you want for a flat fee or on “Pig Out Thursdays” when some of Double T’s large-size sandwiches are the same price as smaller ones. Pulled pork as a platter or sandwich, chicken breast, and Texas beef brisket are among the non-rib choices. Wash it all down with a Double T-size beer, a full liter costing less than two pints. Southern sides include a sweet and cake-like roasted corn pudding, greens, black-eyed peas, sweet potato casserole and fried hominy. Homey desserts suit the barbecue main courses: Virginia mud pie, Southern pecan pie, and mountain bread pudding are just three of the choices. The background country and western music helps put you in a barbecue kind of mood.
