THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Dwyers Irish Pub & Restaurant Restaurant Review:
THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS CLOSED An Irish pub could get by pretty easily with the right kind of décor, a wide selection of Irish ales and beers, and some standard food. Not here. Sure, there's the chicken potpie, Irish stew, shepherd's pie and fish 'n' chips, and these aren't to be dismissed. But there are also some Irish items not always found among pub food menus, including Irish sausage and mash (grilled Irish sausages served with mashed potatoes, peas and a reduced port wine sauce). For quicker fare, consider a sandwich---the standards as well as the Paddy Melt (a ground, seasoned Angus beef patty smothered with caramelized onions and a choice of cheese). In the appetizers section are Irish egg rolls filled with corned beef, cabbage, Swiss cheese and spices, deep-fried and served with Thousand Island dressing, and fried garlic mushrooms.
