The Edison Restaurant Review:
This sprawling bar occupies what was once downtown's first power plant, and the history --- including a massive boiler and other artifacts --- has been preserved in the face of Art Deco accents and plush turn-of-the-century furniture. The bar scene rules, but there is a menu of tasty bar treats, too, like truffled mac 'n' cheese, deviled eggs, flatbreads and more. A good selection of international beers, innovative cocktails and an eclectic wine list --- not to mention an eclectic crowd --- make for a good time in downtown Los Angeles.
