For diners in the mood for a healthy dose of nostalgia, this '50s-style, kid-friendly luncheonette should do the trick: The soda fountain features such retro favorites as root beer floats, egg creams and sarsaparilla. Breakfast is served all day---take your pick from the large menu of omelets, buttermilk flapjacks, Belgian waffles and challah french toast (almond and corn flake toppings optional).
