Don't be put off by the long menu. Forget the Cantonese, Szechuan and Hunan dishes and head straight for the Shanghai specialties: raw crabs marinated in ginger- and garlic-haunted rice wine; thinly sliced aromatic beef; spicy cabbage; sweet-edged smoked fish; potent wine chicken; tofu in crab sauce; and sweet-and-peppery whole bass. Start things off with the juicy soup dumplings. It's best to go with a group, so you can share.
