Farm to Burger Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant & décor: In an area marked by delis, fast food and few serious restaurants, Farm to Burger offers a solid choice for fast casual dining. Knickknacks on a shelf on a brick wall emblazoned with the word GRASSFED create a homey, farmhouse-like interior. The highlight of the restaurant in the Aliz Hotel Times Square, across the street from Port Authority, is the eponymous burger.
Likes: Solid choice for a quick, tasty meal.
Dislikes: Location of the restaurant.
Food & Drinks: Ingredients sourced from the greenmarket and a variety of farms in New York make their way into pretty much every dish including fresh salads and soups, with a focus on a menu of seven creative burgers. A selection includes beef, Kobe beef, Impossible burgers and a swordfish/tuna version for non-meat eaters. Order your sky-high burger with an equally sky-high pile of thin, crisp french fries. Desserts fit the over-the-top format, too, with sundaes and spiked milk shakes. A drinks menu of beer, wine and cocktails has been designed to add to the fun vibe.
