Gérard Faucher keeps prices down to keep customers coming. Hes crossed a few costly items off his shopping list, but otherwise his menu is as vivid and modern as ever. Hes even managed to preserve some signature dishes, like the millefeuille of thinly sliced raw beef and spinach leaves, and the short ribs with a truffled jus. Youll also find a wickedly tasty combination of foie gras, fried egg, and grilled coppa, and a crackling lacquered duck breast. Wines from a revised, less expensive cellar complete the picture. Nicole Faucher greets guests with a smile in the cheerful yellow dining room. Pleasant terrace dining when weather permits.
