Full House Cafe Restaurant Review:
This two-level Bowery dim sum spot on the fringes of Chinatown is bustling day and night with Chinese snacks and the customers who love them. It’s a good idea to come hungry, as there is plenty on the menu to tempt. There are some adventurous choices, including the braised sea cucumber and the whole pan-broiled tilapia. But for the less daring there is always the steamed buns, the classic dim sum option---try the pork and crab variety. Thick pork belly, which comes with its own buns, is a standout; so is the shredded tofu with ham soup. Finish it all off with a bowl of coconut or mango pudding and wash it down with a Chinese beer.
