THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Gauchos Village Restaurant Review:
This big, lavish churrascaria in downtown Glendale rounds out the Brazilian-style barbecue experience with a bar, lounge and live entertainment. After filling up on a buffet of salads, pastas and feijoada-style black beans, guests settle in at their table to enjoy a parade of spit-roasted meats --- filet mignon, tri-tip, bacon-wrapped chicken breast, Brazilian sausage, pork ribs --- all sliced off of sword-like spits directly onto plates by the servers. As in all churrascarias, the meat keeps on coming until you give the signal to stop. Various renditions of moqueca, the classic Brazilian seafood stew, are also offered. Desserts include homemade flan, passion fruit mousse and chocolate mousse. Fridays and Saturdays feature live Bossa Nova piano music and samba dancers.
