If the mood for food strikes as you drive into Las Vegas, or after a heady shopping session at the huge upscale outlet mall on the California border, the only choice that offers something more than glorified fast food is GP's Steakhouse. Rack of lamb, prime rib, filet mignon and fresh seafood such as broiled sea bass, Alaskan king crab and Australian lobster tail are the attractions. For dessert, don't miss the cherries Jubilee or bananas Foster prepared tableside. Service is friendly, and you needn't dress up in any more than your driving-shopping-traveling clothes for a meal that's satisfying.
