Grace's Inn is known for serving a traditional, hearty plate lunch --- no frills, just the archetypal meat or fish, two scoops of rice and macaroni salad. Teriyaki beef (sauce on the rice) is a classic. Chicken katsu is another favorite. The food is almost secondary, however. Go sit in a Naugahyde and Formica booth with your plate stacked high, dig in with your plastic fork and watch people on their lunch break. Also located at 98-820 Moanalua Rd., Aiea, 808-484-2028.
