THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Grange Hall Restaurant Review:
Located on one of the citys best corners, where Commerce Street curves into Bedford, Grange Hall is one of those places that always feels special. The décor harks back to the WPA era and the menu touts its offerings as Food from the American Farm. That means a daily-changing potato pancake preparation, hearty salads and such entrées as organic chicken, roast pork chops and stuffed brook trout---all served à la carte or as part of a full dinner. For finishers, there are wonderfully retro homemade desserts like fluffy coconut cake. You may have to blink twice at the Depression-era prices. Grange Hall also has a long wood bar always crowded with neighborhood folk enjoying a glass of wine alone, and socializing singles with colorful cocktails in hand.
