The Greek Kitchen Restaurant Review:
The Greek Kitchen is a no-frills neighborhood restaurant in Hell's Kitchen. Start with traditional appetizers like stuffed grape leaves, hummus, tzatziki or spanakopita. Main dishes range from platters of gyro and souvlaki (skewers) to pastas and grilled whole fish. There's also a classic American burger, as well as a Mediterranean version served on pita bread with feta cheese, lettuce, tomato and onions. Desserts include baklava, sokolatina (chocolate pastries) and Greek yogurt with walnuts and honey. The short wine list spotlights Greece (as do other beverage options like beer and even the bottled water), with most selections also available by the glass.
