THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Harbour House Restaurant Review:
Located in a lofty, exposed brick space, this quaint restaurant definitely has its charm. We are wooed by the herbaceous seared gnocchi with wild mushroom caps, white truffle oil and shaved manchego cheese but less than enamored with the crisp, frenched chicken breast with chestnut, onion and walnut confit atop buttery green cabbage. The uninspired fried shrimp doesn’t fare any better. Adding insult to injury, it’s not uncommon that fish dishes on the menu are unavailable. If you’re lucky, you might find grilled mahi mahi with wasabi caviar, oven-roasted cod with savoy cabbage, new potatoes, smoked salmon, lardon and white wine cream sauce. Red wine-poached pears for dessert, however, almost make us forget the snafus.
