A welcome addition to this popular shopping destination, Harper's offers upscale Italian dining without fuss or formality. Waiters exude old-world charm. The menu is simple, peppered with salads, pastas and a few meat-based entrées. The Alfredo sauce is sufficiently decadent and the minestrone is a classic, though for the most part, the fare is more American-Italian than of the Southern Italian tradition. Popular with local businesses, the restaurant can get quite crowded at the lunch hour. (You might even spot one of the Westside's more glamorous citizens sealing a deal at one of the patio tables.) Call ahead on weekdays to avoid disappointment.
