This Hollywood establishment is one of the better-looking Cuban eateries in town, with an Old Havana supper club ambience and cozy tables set amid leafy banana trees and murals evoking the surf at famed Varaderó Beach. Menu highlights include empanadas, croquetas de jamón, vaca frita (shredded flank steak, fried with onions and bell peppers), bacalao (salt cod) fritters, grilled snapper, chicken marinated in citrus, ropa vieja and authentic Cuban sandwiches served with crispy plantain chips. Desserts include a winning flan.
