THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED LOCATIONS Hollywood East Cafe on the Boulevard Restaurant Review:
For anyone who adores the original Hollywood East, they will find that its twin---much larger and fancier---enhances the Wheaton dining circuit. You may want to eat here solo, but then you would never do justice to the very lengthy menu, with nearly 300 items in all, not including midday dim sum. Much of its menu is the real thing including dishes like sliced boneless pig's knuckle, crispy fried pork intestines, pig's skin and duck blood. Don't skip the shrimp and scallops in the unique XO sauce of spices puréed with dry shrimp and dry scallops; cured ham and bacon; or the deep-fried spicy shrimp, heads on. You'll also find such familiar standards as crispy beef, honey-walnut shrimp and Peking duck, so be sure to come with an appetite and a crowd.
