THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Hooked Restaurant Review:
Having moved to much larger, shinier quarters that even feature separate dining areas, a big bar, and an outdoor terrace framed by a stream, this fish-centric eatery has figured out how to make fresh fish a big seller in the ’burbs. A group of owners have collaborated on serving the freshest catches possible, and their menu shows that their chefs have taken up the challenge: what to do with fish besides fry or poach it? Sushi, of course, in assorted expected and wacky combos make for interesting eating. But don’t forget that the dinner menu also features fish entrées such as the monkfish “osso buco” on a bed of puréed mashed potatoes. If you drop by for lunch, check out such fishy fare as the rare tuna burger. Note that lobsters are a big seller here. Desserts include a Key lime pie that’s like a cheesecake topped with whipped cream. Nice seaworthy atmosphere, and the staff tries hard to please.
