THIS RESTAURANT HAS CHANGED NAMES Houston's Restaurant Review:
A handsome, lively spot for informal feasts, Houston’s is a casual chain steakhouse offering American fare at fair prices. Meal-size salads, juicy prime rib and buttery tenderloins are the food items Houston’s does best---and the prime rib's size makes it particularly good value-for-money, too. Sandwiches and burgers are a bit pricy compared to most casual eateries, but the French dip prime rib and the crisp-battered grouper sandwiches (the latter with Thousand Island dressing instead of tartar sauce) are tasty. Oversized booths and cultivated, yet Spartan, style add to the appeal. The dim and roomy bar might make the generally grueling wait for your table less torturous. In fact, the place is popular enough as a happy hour hangout that you might even find yourself a new dining companion.
