Ingrid's Kitchen Restaurant Review:
While the menu includes over 700 rotating items, we visit Ingrid’s especially for the wiener schnitzel, authentic warm German potato salad, refreshing sauerkraut, and a breakfast of apple french toast. Daily lunch specials usually feature Oklahoma comfort food; come dinnertime, we suggest sampling the platter of Oklahoma-made bratwurst. The wide-ranging deli counter includes meats, cheeses, soups and salads, which are available for bulk purchase. Regulars return each Saturday for Ingrid’s breakfast buffet and to dance to old-time favorites performed by local crooners. There’s also an adjacent beer and wine bar to appeal to a different kind of clientele looking to relax with a variety of local and European draft beers. Whatever brings you to Ingrid’s, everyone is ultimately drawn to the bakery counter that features a large assortment of tempting goods, including nussecken, streusel, danishes, whole cakes, and loaves of freshly-baked bread.
