International Smoke Restaurant Review:
Chef Michael Mina and restaurateur Ayesha Curry have brought their International Smoke to Las Vegas at MGM Grand. The restaurant debuted in 2016 as a pop-up at MINA Test Kitchen before launching its first brick and mortar outpost in San Francisco in 2017. The chef-driven menu offers a wide selection of international flavors, with wood-fired dishes such as smoked St. Louis cut pork ribs finished with signature sauces including American barbeque, Vietnamese lemongrass with Saigon streusel and Korean sesame-gochujang with toasted black sesame seeds; a shellfish platter with charcoal-grilled oysters, shrimp, lobster and crab steamed tableside with lemongrass tea; and the Gina Jamaica, Ayesha’s signature cocktail with Absolut Elyx Vodka, Barsol Pisco, cucumber and basil.
