Jackie Chan's restaurant empire has colonized Asia, but this location is his first foray in the United States. Done in mall-chic (homogenously sleek with some quasi industrial touches), Jackie's Kitchen serves crowd-pleasing Pan-Asian food that you'd expect in an upscale mall (chef Michael Longworth came from that other popular chain spot Buca di Beppo). Chinese chicken salad, hoisin baby-back ribs, tea-smoked duck, shrimp chow fun and ginger-chive-topped moi appeal to both local palates and visitors looking for something a bit exotic. Open late, the flair bar (think Tom Cruise in Cocktail) is a jumping spot for Honolulu yuppies in search of a Cosmo and kung fu clips on a screen.
