In an ideal corner location, this authentic Lebanese restaurant offers a lengthy menu starring hot and cold mezza. Choose from baba ghanouj and stuffed grape leaves, beef shwarma and grilled pita stuffed with ground beef and lamb, all of which could constitute a full meal. Instead, few patrons would skip past the main courses of braised lamb shank with white truffles, tender lamb kebabs or the grilled lamb chops served with roasted potatoes. Courteous waitstaff bring baskets of hot and puffy pita bread and will eagerly discuss Lebanese and other wines to pair with your meal. Ask about traditional desserts, such as the baklawa and the kanafe, shredded phyllo with sweet cheese and orange blossom honey.
