Joey’s is a modest Italian eatery that has been serving a neighborhood clientele for decades. The service is good, but not exceptional; same goes for the food. Stick with the pizzas, since they are the most consistently appealing option. Try the Florentine, a thin crust pie topped with Alfredo sauce, spinach, tomato and mozzarella. Other mains---veal scallopine, chicken picatta, manicotti---augment the ever-changing daily specials. Portions are generous, and all meals are accompanied by warm Italian bread and crisp salad.
