Kellari Taverna Restaurant Review:
If your thoughts of Greek dining include vignettes of “Zorba the Greek” or “My Big Fat Greek Wedding,” you’ll be surprised by the tony interior and service at this downtown Greek restaurant. Suited staff present wines and show off the seafood display. The accomplished cooking takes in immense lobsters, and the chef’s roast chicken infused with feta is almost boneless and nearly fork-tender. Desserts are a must, but chances are the Greek yogurt with honey will best the galaktoboureko. If you enjoy wine with your meal, here’s a chance to sample a variety of Greek vintages; ask the waiter for suggestions. There's even a Greek wine happy hour the first Monday of the month.
