Kuby's Sausage House Restaurant Review:
When you're in the mood for good, basic German food, you can't go wrong with Kuby's. Owned by the Kuby family who emigrated here from Germany in the 1950's, Kuby's has been serving up its house-made sausages, potato pancakes and schnitzels to Park Cities locals for decades. Weisswurst, wienerwurst and bratwurst are almost exact replicas of what you would find at any gasthof in Germany. Pork schnitzel is everything it ought to be, especially when flanked by sides of the topnotch German potato salad and tangy braised red cabbage. Sit at the counter for lunch, enjoy a Reuben sandwich piled high with corned beef and sauerkraut, do a little eavesdropping on the regulars and you'll find out everything that's going on in the neighborhood. Dinner on Friday and Saturday nights come complete with an oompah band. Be sure to browse around the deli and grocery store section before you leave for a treat to take with you.
