As the original location and springboard for his other cucinas, Aldo Lamberti has been pleasing his customers with reasonably priced northern Italian cooking. Their chicken maximo---sautéed chicken, shallots, asparagus, mushrooms, and mozzarella with a splash of marinara---or veal and shrimp sautéed with mushrooms, mozzarella in a light wine sauce, are Italian comfort foods designed to fill every void in a hungry stomach. Seafood, steaks, pasta dishes and specials can be topped off with a tiramisu, or choose from an ever-changing selections of cakes, and occasionally, tartufo will show up for a cameo appearance.
