Launceston Place Restaurant Review:
A favorite of many Londoners, the setting is chic and elegant, with low, moody lighting and bright art on the walls. Raphael Francois (Le Cirque in New York) has taken the reins in the kitchen as Chef Patron. Seasonal ingredients bring dishes like blue crab simplissime and crème Catalane. The wine list is very good indeed and offers value for all budgets. Service is professional as it should be; the staff know that Launceston Place is an important fixture in London’s dining scene. Lunch menu at £30 for 3 courses Tuesday through Saturday. 3-course lunch Sun. £40; 7-course tasting menu (whole table) £70; 7-course vegetarian menu (whole table) £70.
