This French-inspired bakery/café tucked on a street sidelining Rockville’s bustling Town Square offers a tantalizing array of very distinctive and upscale pastries, cookies, croissants, turkey puffs and madeleines. They’re ideal for accompanying a mug of freshly brewed craft coffee. If you want something more substantial, order one of the brunch items: croque monsieur, croque madame, onion soup or salmon salad --- followed up, of course, with an éclair or wedge of apple tart. Seating is minimal, but there’s enough for guests to sip coffee indoors or out while indulging in treats.
