Le Coq & Fils Restaurant Review:

Le Coq & Fils (formerly Le Coq Rico) is tucked away on the top of the Butte Montmartre. The owner is the Alsatian Antoine Westermann, who also owns Drouant in Paris. As the name suggests, this venture is completely dedicated to poultry. It’s important to note that the produce hails from the best suppliers, like the free-range chicken from the regions of Challans and Bresse, and the guinea fowl from Auvergne. Start with the poultry liver roasted on a crispy tartine with horseradish and then move on to succulent roast guinea fowl served with house-made fries and salad or mac & cheese and salad or seasonal veggies fricassee. Finish with the classic île flottante.
