THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Le Paris Bistrot Restaurant Review:
Be prepared for some of the best service in town here, not the stuffy, formal kind that makes you feel like youre using the wrong fork; its discrete, unobtrusive service that anticipates your needs. This tiny place was once a home, then an antique store, and its utterly charming, with small, nicely decorated rooms, soft lighting, and crisp white tablecloths. The menu features classic French favorites like duck confit, steak with pommes frites, and excellent tender braised lamb shanks. We like to start with an order of steamed mussels, and we sop up every bit of the garlicky broth with the crusty bread, and were nutty about the apple Calvados sauce served with the pork tenderloin. We like to skip the cheese plate and move right to the desserts, and the dark chocolate mousse and the apple tart rate two forks up. Keep in mind, its a great lunch spot, in an area where you can do a little antique shopping post-dessert.
