THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Le Petit Bistro Restaurant Review:
A sibling of the original La Cienega location, as well as Brentwood's Le Petit Zinc, this charmer is decked out in classic dark wood, mirrors, vintage French beverage posters, and white-linened tables topped with butcher paper. Unlike the La Cienega venue, the tables here are more generously spaced and there are a few spacious booths. We appreciate the simple, authentic French bistro food at remarkably reasonable prices (most entrées are in the mid-teens): a sublime eggplant-and-tomato tart, aromatic mussels marinière, juicy baby lamb chops with crisp pommes frites, and moist blackened salmon atop a green salad. Consistently outstanding desserts include classics like tarte Tatin, pot au chocolate and crème caramel. Also located at 631 N. La Cienega Blvd., West Hollywood, 310-289-9797.
