THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Le Pommier Restaurant Review:
Though under different ownership, Le Pommier's talented restaurant team remains in place and continues to provide sophisticated, quality cuisine in a restored 1869 storefront. Interior renovations add faux wood floors, dark woodwork, sponged neutral-toned walls and chandeliers. But the place still exudes a relaxed, bistro ambience. Executive chef Mark Collins uses fresh local produce and a contemporary attitude to execute a seasonal French menu. Francophiles enjoy the house pâté, duck and hearty cassoulet. Desserts range from sinful profiteroles to house-made sorbets and ice creams. The wine list concentrates on all French labels, and serious oenophiles favor the restaurant as a grazing, sipping spot.
