This light, blond, modern and casual hidey hole is one of the best kept local’s secrets in Aspen. It is fun, it is cheap, and the food is fabulous and fresh---authentic but not typical Chinese. Chinese born chef -owner Jian and his extended family do it all---cooking, serving, and schmoozing with the regulars. Order ginger shrimp, General Tso’s chicken (fried with a broccoli, baby corn, cauliflower and peppers in a spicy brown sauce), Ollie’s seafood nest with shrimp, lobster and scallops with veggies in a brown sauce prettily presented in a potato nest, Yushan chicken made with veggies and garlic sauce. Jian and his gang can make anything you want that’s not on the menu, and they’ll do it with pleasure. Beer and wine only, and reservations for six or more.
