What a crazy, whimsical place this is. Brazilian-, Latin American- and Spanish-style tapas anchor the menu with some Italian interlopers, such as a classic beef carpaccio with Parmesan cheese. You also will find fish, beef and pork tacos. Check out the fried calamari, one of the city's best preparations. The tender pieces of squid are not breaded and come just spicy enough to be intriguing. Pan-roasted fish, Catalan pan amb tomat (a Barcelona-style tapa) and grilled ribs with sherry vinaigrette all merit attention and are large enough to share. There's live music every night, making this a rocking kind of place to be in Midtown any day of the week.
