A swank, classic steakhouse with a decidedly hip crowd and old-school menu.

THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED The Lodge Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
This swank steakhouse is the epitome of the contemporary steakhouse concept that stampeded into L.A. Hot designer Dodd Mitchell gave the place a faux rustic look with stone fireplaces and tables carved from massive tree trunks. The crowd is decidedly hip, but the menu is pretty much old-school: lobster cocktails, tomato-and-Maui-onion salad with blue cheese, tableside-boned Dover sole, porterhouse steak for two, mac ‘n’ cheese and creamed spinach. The wine program accommodates a flashy clientele with high-priced cult favorites without forgetting to offer something for more value-conscious drinkers.
