THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED L'Olivier Restaurant Review:
This popular place for business lunches becomes a romantic dining spot by night. The main dining room sets the mood: dark-wood antiques, dramatic chandeliers, oil paintings of the French countryside and white linen draping the tables. Most important, the tables are generously spaced and the noise level allows for conversation. Order reasonably priced prix-fixe menus (less than $35 for dinner) or à la carte. For starters, we recommend the crab cakes or classic lobster bisque. Entrées include grilled salmon in Pinot Noir sauce and tournedos of filet mignon with truffle sauce. For dessert, the L'Olivier soufflé is formidable. Service is professional, and the wine list is extensive.
