Los Arroyos Restaurant Review:

Los Arroyos owners Tony Arroyo and Maria Rickard pride themselves on serving nothing but food made with the freshest ingredients. The interior is comprised of tiled floors and colorful decorative tiles with wrought-iron railings. There's no lack of Mexican restaurants in town, but the traditional food here is consistent. Salsa is prepared daily, and even the tortillas are made before your eyes. The menu runs to tacos, burritos and enchiladas, along with rice and black or brown beans. Arroyo gets his seafood fresh for the fish tacos, and favorite dishes include the alambres and the earthy pozole. Weekend breakfasts offer oatmeal and pancakes to the Azteca --- steak and eggs topped with green salsa and cheese. Desserts include homemade flan or an apple pie taco with vanilla ice cream. A tiny wine and beer list is available, along with margaritas, horchata and fresh juices.
