Owner Giovanni Latini’s conveniently situated osteria, within walking distance of the most important sightseeing spots in Florence, is a favorite of locals and tourists alike (the latter clientele also appreciates the fact that the staff speaks fluent English). Guests are always welcomed with a glass of Prosecco and some fried bread (known as coccoli). The kitchen turns out quality Tuscan food at a very reasonable price. A charcoal grill will cook a Florentine steak to a turn, but the menu offers many other choices.
