This little café attracts a lot of locals, making it another sought-after contender in the Silver Lake mad-rush-for-late-brunch Saturday mornings. The restaurant itself has a cozy, almost too-snug interior, but the outdoor dining offers sufficient breathing room at intimate tables for two. Breakfasts are dependable, including french toast and eggs Benedict, or a variation with smoked salmon on a potato pancake. The hollandaise won’t win any awards, but this is a gentle charmer worth getting out of bed for. For lunch, consider a turkey burger, tuna melt or hefty salad.
