THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Maison Boulud a Pekin Restaurant Review:
Chef Daniel Boulud's first outpost in Asia is located in the former U.S. Embassy at the heart of the Legation Quarter. The dining hall itself used to be former premier Zhou Enlai’s office. The menu reflects Boulud's French roots and includes such dishes as slow-baked salmon with shallots, leeks, carrots and horseradish cream; cumin roasted lamb with sweet pepper stew, dried figs and squash; and crispy suckling pig with daikon sauerkraut, apple coleslaw and Dijon mustard jus. Maison Boulud imports its meat from suppliers worldwide, but the vegetables, herbs and mushrooms are seasonal and locally sourced. Sommeliers are on hand to pair your dinner with the choicest wine.
