Mama's on the Half Shell Restaurant Review:
Sample oyster stew, grilled oysters, fried oysters, oysters Rockefeller plus a range of other items from fried fish --- Connolly’s, a long-gone fried-seafood haven, gets a menu tribute --- to more contemporary creations. (Landlubbers can choose between four different styles of filet mignon.) Befitting its name, Mama’s is warm and welcoming, but its look is definitely upscale. Unlike its kitschy sibling, Nacho Mama’s, it is elegantly Victorian, decorated in rich, dark hues with fringed velvet curtains and a collection of vintage oyster plates.
