THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Margaritaville Restaurant Review:
Reminiscent of the vibrancy of a Jimmy Buffet show, Margaritaville is a colorful, three-story eatery with a retail logo store at its entrance. The centerpiece of the tropically themed main floor dining room is the signature bar, over which a volcano periodically deposits tequila into a huge blender. Tropical décor features fishing boat-shaped booths and all things related to the sea. The second level is the place for private parties, and the third level offers patio dining, complete with a full bar overlooking Caesars Palace and the Strip. Go for the signature appetizer, Asiago crab dip with lump crab meat in a sharp Asiago cheese cream served with crostini bread, or the popular beach tacos in versions of carne asada or simmered chicken tinga. We like the white cheddar curds paired with LandShark Lager barbecue and marinara, and the jambalaya. The Cheeseburger in Paradise and Volcano burger topped with chili, lava cheese sauce, pickled jalapeños, guacamole and Fritos corn chips are winners, too. Wash it all down with a margarita or a cold beer. Save room for the refreshing Key lime pie, a true taste of the tropics, or chocolate banana pudding finished with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce.
