Marui Sushi Restaurant Review:

Tucked into one of those ubiquitous suburban shopping centers, right off the freeway, is Marui Sushi, where locals huddle at polished wooden tables and booths to sample a wide selection of sushi rolls, preceded by stuffed jalapeños or mushrooms. There are also some interesting carpaccio dishes and sushi salads, as well as entrées like chicken or salmon teriyaki. At the sushi bar, affable chefs greet regulars by name and apply their knives to ingredients that are respectable, given the relatively modest price points. Guests finish with mochi ice cream before heading back to their neat subdivisions.
