The ornate Art Nouveau exterior gives way to an even more flamboyant interior, complete with sinuous carved wood arabesques, elaborate stained glass, heavy drapery and dim lighting. And while dining here is a bit like going back in time, the weekend night dance parties draw a modern mix of locals, out-of-towners and of course, celebrities. Well-located on the rue Royale, between Place de la Concorde and the church of La Madeleine.
