THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED McCormick & Schmick's Restaurant Review:
McCormick & Schmick's, with its massive mahogany bar, features stained glass ceilings, Tiffany-style chandeliers and mosaic tile floors. The extensive menu offers imaginatively prepared fresh fish varieties from Alaska, Arkansas, Canada, Hawaii, California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Maine, New York, Louisiana, Florida, Fiji and Costa Rica, several of which change daily. For starters, we like the coconut shrimp with orange horseradish marmalade and the coast to coast tuna --- spicy seared tuna paired with avocado tuna tartare. We also recommend the seared sea scallops with sun-dried tomato pesto and crab potato hash, and the dry-rubbed Black Angus rib-eye steak. At lunch, diners will find seven entrées under $12. McCormick’s signature dessert, upside-down candied walnut apple pie with candied walnut crust and warm caramel sauce, served with cinnamon ice cream --- is worth the splurge.
