Downtown’s Bin 228 is a pre- and post-show destination, or a place to head after work or on an Internet date. With more than fifty Italian wines available by the glass, ask your server for pairing advice after you've selected small plates, panini or the risotto du jour. Staff is patient when it comes to determining your tastes and then recommending selections available by the glass or bottle. As for the food, we suggest bruschetta topped with Gorgonzola, pear and hazelnut purée; Fontina fondue with earthy truffle essence; and the toasted sandwich filled with grilled salmon, lemon aïoli, tomato and arugula. If you strike up a romance by the time you peruse the petite menu of Italian desserts, share the Nutella panino.
