BL Brasserie Restaurant Review:
About the restaurant: BL Brasserie (formerly Bistro Laurent) has brought classic French cuisine to downtown Paso Robles since 1997, long before the city became a foodie destination. Outdoor dining is available.
Food & Drinks: Chef/owner Laurent Grangien wields his expertise with a deft touch, highlighting fresh, seasonal ingredients against a backdrop of authentic French technique. It’s always hard to pass up the onion soup, but other possibilities have included crispy Dungeness risotto, beef tenderloin with black peppercorn sauce, and a raspberry clafoutis topped with house-made vanilla ice cream. Not surprisingly, the extensive bottle list celebrates both local and international labels. BL Brasserie also has a wine shop.
