THIS RESTAURANT IS CLOSED Brio Tuscan Grille Restaurant Review:
There's always a crowd at this high-end eatery in trendy Winter Park Village. With warm Tuscan colors and Carrera marble, the somewhat-noisy grill is best known for its generous portions, like the pasta fra diavolo with spicy tomato-cream sauce and shrimp or chicken. Our favorite starter is the beef carpaccio, served with field greens, mustard aïoli and fried capers, but the spicy shrimp with eggplant or the sausage, pepperoni and ricotta flatbread are tasty, too, as is the wedge salad with crisp bacon and creamy Parmesan dressing. We also recommend the grilled shrimp and orzo served with grilled asparagus, zucchini and tomatoes in lemon vinaigrette. Meat-lovers can go for the bistecca alla Fiorentina, a strip steak grilled to order and topped with a light squeeze of fresh lemon juice. Dependable fare with no surprises.
